Kevin Coyne
The death of Kevin Coyne is a huge blow to generations of music fans, from John Peel to Johnny Rotten. England`s answer to Captain Beefheart was also a successful author and painter, and even turned down the offer of replacing Jim Morrison in the Doors. Kevin was the father of singer Eugene Coyne and Venus Ray`s Robert Coyne, who also played together as Silver Chapter and Mean Vincent. Rob toured regularly with his father, and co-wrote and performed on all his recent albums.
